Watervliet Shaker Tall Clock
The Shaker Tall Clock we designed in 1991, it is modeled after a tall case clock from the Waterveliet, NY Shaker community, made around 1820. Our Shaker Grandfather clock is true to Shaker’s design, featuring clean, simplisitic lines. It is a beautifual clock and compliments traditional and contemporary homes. We use joinery identical to craftsmen in the 18th Century.
The frame and door frame are mortise and tenoned, with precision used for all aspects of this clock.
Each clock is produced in three parts, Bonnet, Trunk and Dial. The dial is attached firmly with bolts to a seat board and sits exactly positioned on trunk-brackets. The lower case door is fitted with a lock and has a recycled ivory escutcheon. The clock’s dial is hand painted with Roman Numerals and can have your family name, replacing McGuire on the dial.
Movement: Hermle solid brass, 8 day, weight driven movement. There are two weights at 7 lbs each; one weight drives the time and other weight runs the chime. The clock has a mellow gong.

Watervliet Shaker Dwarf Clock
The Watervliet Dwarf Clock is the rarest of the authentic Shaker Clocks. We started making this clock in 1991. Each clock is meticulously handcrafted from premium solid hardwoods, hand made just like the antique clocks. Each Shaker Clock is made like the antique clock with a Bonnet, Trunk and Face. The (solid brass key wound movement with pendulum) is attached securely to a seat board, which sits down onto two side mounted containment boards, attached to the interior sides of the trunk.
A mechanical solid brass, key wound, Hermle movement, is regulated with a pendulum. These have found homes in all 50 states, as well as Europe and Australia.
